At Rutland, we've combined our trusted creosote removing technology with specially dried pellets to create an innovative creosote removing solution for pellet stove owners. Simply open the bag or box and pour 8 oz of pellets into the hopper and burn as usual to prevent dangerous creosote buildups from pellet burning. Each treatment is approximately 8 oz. Wood pellets have been dried to 2 to 5% moisture content. Safe to use in all pellet stoves, wood-burning fireplaces or wood stoves. Rutland fire bricks are ideal for residential use. Build new fireplaces or to replace old or broken bricks in existing fixtures (wood or coal stoves, furnaces and fireplace inserts). They can also be used to line a fire pit in the backyard or anywhere else a brick is needed that can withstand high-temperatures. Bricks measure 9 x 4-1/2 x 1-1/4 in.
