Rutland magnetic burn indicator monitors the performance of your wood or coal burning stove. At a glance, you will see the potential for creosote buildup. Magnetically attaches to a vertical, single wall pipe or on the cooktop surface of a wood or coal stove. Indicates overheating or a low temperature creosote buildup hazard. Displays temperatures from 100 deg F to 800 deg F. The heat sensitive face will darken in color when exposed to unsafe temperatures.

At Rutland, we've combined our trusted creosote removing technology with specially dried pellets to create an innovative creosote removing solution for pellet stove owners. Simply open the bag or box and pour 8 oz of pellets into the hopper and burn as usual to prevent dangerous creosote buildups from pellet burning. Each treatment is approximately 8 oz. Wood pellets have been dried to 2 to 5% moisture content. Safe to use in all pellet stoves, wood-burning fireplaces or wood stoves.

Rutland fire bricks are ideal for residential use. Build new fireplaces or to replace old or broken bricks in existing fixtures (wood or coal stoves, furnaces and fireplace inserts). They can also be used to line a fire pit in the backyard or anywhere else a brick is needed that can withstand high-temperatures. Bricks measure 9 x 4-1/2 x 1-1/4 in.
