Scotts PatchMaster lawn repair mix tall fescue mix comes pre-mixed to make repairing bare spots easy! This product contains a mixture of premium Tall Fescue seed to blend with your existing lawn, 100% recycled mulch to help keep seeds moist and in place and fertilizer for fast growth and thick results. In fact, this mix starts to grow in as few as 7 days, feeds up to 6 weeks and absorbs 3x its weight in water! Apply in the fall or spring when daytime temperatures are between 60 deg F and 80 deg F. Evenly spread a thin layer of PatchMaster Lawn Repair Mix so the area is completely covered. A deep and thorough initial watering is the key to success. Gently water the area until PatchMaster is completely saturated and no more water is being absorbed. Continue to water daily or more as needed to keep the soil moist. One 4.75 lb bag of Scotts PatchMaster lawn repair mix tall fescue mix has a bare spot coverage of 70 sq-ft and a thin grass coverage of 140 sq-ft.
